The bible contains not just the word of God; the bible is the word of God.
A collection of 66 books, 39 of the old testament, and 27 of the new testament.
Written by 40 different authors in the space of 1,500 years, still they never contradict one another.
But pick one medical book written by just 5 different people, they will all contradict one another.
About Daniel prophecy, Daniel chapter 7, 8 and 9, the four world empire, all has been fulfilled to the letter.
About all other cultures spoken of in the bible, that they will be forgotten, has been fulfilled.
But the Jews cultures still exist, their culture, their land and their religion, why? because God says so, the Bible.
After the time of the Apostles, there was a group of Jews that continue to keep the Old testament pure, they are known as the MASORETES, that is their job, the first Hebrew text printed was in 1488.
The text is called the MASORETES TEXT, in memory of the Jews, who so faithfully though in blindness preserved it through the centuries.
This is the old testament text that was used by the King James Translator.
The old testament text that was translated into Greek is called the SEPTUAGINT.
THE NEW TESTAMENT PRESERVATION
The Jews do not believe the New Testament to be scripture, God did it for a purpose Romans 11:25-26,
Acts 15:14.
Many of these words were written down or dictate by the Apostles as epistles, or other letters thus completing the New Testament canon.
That is why John the beloved was the last to die among the Apostles, to put the new testament in other, and completing it with the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
THE DARK AGE AND WHEN THE BIBLE WAS FORBIDDEN TO READ
Satan now raises his Apostles to start making revision of scriptures, but the true Christians hold on to the true bible. This is when they now put a law to kill anyone with the bible, they start burning the bibles.
All sort of revision was made, but yet God plan can never be change.
God used Christians also to preserved the original text.
After the 1000 years of the dark age by the Catholic Church, many Christians were confused, so they came together, making copies by hand from the original text, and they called it the Traditional Text, or RECEIVED TEXT ( TEXTUS RECEPTUS ) The Textus Receptus originated in Antioch Syrian, where the disciples were first called Christians ACT 11:26, and acts 13:1-3
It is from this Textus Receptus that the New Testament was Translated from.
WHY KING JAMES VERSION 1611, IS THE BIBLE GOD PUTS HIS STAMP OF APPROVAL ?
1: It is translated from the Masoretes text and The Textus Receptus Text.
2: Psalm 12:6-7, The bible being refine 7 times stands for perfection, king james have being revised 7 times, the correction was only in change in type style ( FROM Gothic typestyle to Roman style ), change in spelling ( doe to do, goe to go), and corrected typographical errors( Correction made by missing a letter in a word).
3: The king James Bible was written before the great movement of unbelief swept in German rationalism, French scepticism and English deism were no in force to affect the mentality of the Translators.
4: The King James Version was written in a Universal language, when English was at it peak.
5: NO COPYRIGHT, King James Bible is the only Bible that don’t have copyright claim.
6: It will be of interest that many translation has gone into oblivion, and others are busy advertising their translation. But King James Bible have stood the test of time, and yet nobody does advertise, the advert is being done by the Holy Ghost Himself, LORD JESUS CHRIST.
7: The King James Version Bible has lasted more than 380 years, and billion copies made more than any other Translation, and from King James Version Bible different language translated theirs.
APOCRYPHA, AND WHY APOCRYPHA.
The Old testament, it is fourteen books most written before the time of Christ, that are Nor scripture and Not part of the canon.
The word Apocrypha itself means not genuine, spurious, counterfeit.
KJV 1611 had the Apocrypha in it, but it was placed between the testaments.
The translators plainly labelled the book as Apocrypha, they never once hinted that they considered any of it scripture.
REASON IT WAS PUT IN KJV 1611 AND LATER REMOVED IN SUBSEQUENT VERSION.
Just as Bible have references, notes and commentary in them, for recommended reading.
So the Apocrypha is of value if only from a historical standpoint.
