There are two things that certifies you as a christian, i don’t know what you believe, but these two things are certain.
Before i explain these two factors, let me explain the two calls to every believer:
1: A call to server, to serve in the five fold ministry as in Eph 4.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
2: A call to salvation.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
In addition to these, there are just two things that certifies you as a christian.
1: IS YOUR POSITION IN THE BODY OF CHRIST.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
3Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
2: YOUR KNOWLEDEGE ON WHO THE SON OF GOD IS, LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Matthew 13:11 (KJV)
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Based on these two things, your position in the body of Christ and your revelation in Christ will determine how God will work with you.

David said this in Psalms 69:9

9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
Let the zeal of God comsumme you, let there be a new dimension for God to work with you.
