Adoption, as we know in our world today, is a little bit different and deeper in terms of God’s Adoption towards the believers. He not only adopts us, But He also redeemed us as well.
Spiritual or biblically we have two types of adoption:
1: Individual or believer adoption.
2: The Bride of Christ Adoption Worldwide.
1: Believers Adoption is on Ephesians 1 : 2-5
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According to as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.
This is believers adoption after we have repented, baptized, sanctified by the word and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, God then blesses us with spiritual blessings in heavenly places, which is found in 1 Corinthians 12:1-13.
Heavenly Places is your position in Christ Jesus or gift of God in you when assembly in the church and pray and praise God that is a heavenly atmosphere.
Then in Ephesians 4:8-14
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:8-14, and Corinthians 12:1-13 is about the adoption of a believer, but Eph 4:13, gaves us a preview what will take place later,
Eph 4:13: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
2: Adoption of the Church ( The Bride ).
Galatians 4:8
Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
But when the fulness of the time has come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
In Israel, a father places a son under tutor and governors until the time appointed of the father to place authority in the son’s hand.
The is done with a ceremony that the child which is heir, now have the authority placed in his hand.
Read Romans 8:20-23, but my emphasizes is on verse 23: And not only they but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the spirit, even we ourselves groan within
ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
The first fruit of the believer is the baptism of the Holy Ghost, which God has given us in measures, the first fruit is the first partial outpouring of the spirit.
They come another, the Adoption, to wit the redemption our body, that is until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Revelation 10:1-7
And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
Revelation 10:8-11
And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it up, and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
Verse 11 of Revelation 10, says thou must prophesy again,
when?
