WHY BORN AGAIN.
Have you being asked this question several times by a preacher? You must be born again, you must be born again, repent for the kingdom of God is at hand, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be save.
You have been used to those saying for years, some even said for two thousand years we are still expecting him, yet he is nowhere to be found, he is not coming back, there is no God.
Hmmn: Remember, one day will be your last, of saying those words.
And on that day? That very day, they will be right popping in your face standing as a witness and judgment to you.
Due to it’s constant usage on daily basics, through communication, sermon on radio, sermon on TV, or crusade.
Don’t be deceived, it is still relevant, even now, till Jesus Comes back, these two word will keep on resonating among us.
Hey, hold on a second, what actually, is being born again. Only few preachers can explain why you need to be born again, what happens to the first birth, and what is the process of being born again.
John chapter 3 verses 3, Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
The apostle John said, you cannot see the kingdom of God.
Matthew chapter 18 verses 3, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
The apostle Matthew said, you cannot enter the kingdom of God.
You need to see a way, before you go through that away, you need to understand God’s plan for salvation, accept it, before you being your Christian Journey with the Lord.
In summary, it means Repentance and Salvation, which then leads you to the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Without the Holy Ghost you none of his, says Paul in romans chapter 8 verses 9.
As you can see, the Lord is very serious about being born again, you and I know that his word must always come to pass.
Matthew chapter 24 verses 35, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Mark chapter 16 verses 16, He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
First Peter chapter 1 verses 23, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
WHY BORN AGAIN?
The first birth in the garden of Eden, has being corrupted, so we need another incorruptible seed, to quicken us, because due to the corruption, a flaming sword, was place in Eden to prevent Adam and Eve not to be able to eat of the fruit, from the tree of life.
Genesis chapter 3 verses 24, So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Now the only source of life is Jesus Christ, and for you to have him, you must be born again.
How?,
One: Repent and accept Christ and the sacrifice he did at the cross was for you.
Two: Go through baptism, correct water baptism by immersion, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Colossians Chapter 3 verses 17, And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Three: Ask for the indwelling of the Holy Ghost, that is the spirit of God in you.
