Just to let you know that Daniel was one of the greatest prophets of God ever lived, he saw the future, and world event is written in advance, history is written by God in advance but understand it not.
NB: Revelation is the continuation of Daniel, just as Hebrew is the continuation of Leviticus.
The book that was sealed in Daniels days was open in Revelation, Daniel 8:26 and Daniel 12:4, and Revelation 5:9.
Daniel 8:14 has to be a controversial topic for ages, after much study and meditation, I would like to give my own revelation of it.
Let me start by saying that three men where ask to view a mountain from three different angles.
The first MAN said the mountain looks like a desert of stones, the other said is like a valley, the last said is like a forest.
Another three blind men were asked to describe the elephant by touching it.
The first man happened to touch the trunk, he said is like a big rope, the second touch body, he said is like a wall, the last man touches the leg, he said is like a pillar.
These three men don’t agree with one another’s views, but they are all correct parts.
But the Holy Ghost work is to keep us at an angle in which we will see both three angles perfectly and agrees to all three descriptions.
Daniel 2300 Days.
History has it that Antiochus Epiphany desecrated the temple, and offered pig for lamb, which later the temple was cleaned and rededicated.
History has it that he used 2300 days for desecrating the temple, while others said it takes 1100 days to desecrate the temple.
Other Bible scholars said that the 2300 days in Hebrew Septuagint it is written as morning and evening sacrifices, that the 2300 days means 2300 sacrifices they were abstained to offer to God, that the days should be 1150 days that is 2300 days divided by 2.
Some said that the prophecy has been fulfilled while others say is in the future.
Explanation of Daniel 2300 Days in relation to the 70 weeks, taking the points from different scholars of the Bible.
1) The Jews in Babylon captivity was on its own. NB: while Daniel was praying about his people concerning the 70 years’ captivity is almost done, God was busy showing him yet another vision that will befall them in the future. They went into captivity in BC 606, while Daniel received the vision in BC 538, 606 minus 538 is 68 years, just two years left for them.
The 70 years captivity was just two years to finish before God gave them the final Judgment that will FINISH THE TRANSGRESSION.
Daniel 9:24: Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Note: The passage in the Bible said, to Finish, finish what?, to finish the captivity, what was started, to complete it, and make an end for sin, they committed against God.
70 YEARS captivity, 2300 Days, and 70 Weeks are separate on their own, but share type and anti-type alike, we must not force them to be one and same, it won’t balance. 70 years’ captivity is passed, 70 Weeks is yet to be finished, the 2300 days is a zoom preview of a larger scale coming up, called the Jacobs trouble.
From the historical point of view, of Antiochus Epiphany, who desecrated the temple, something struck me, that was just before the Grecian empire fell to Rome, Antiochus iv came to power as king of Syria ( 175 – 164 B.C ) After his father Antiochus the Great died, the Romans who controlled the Middle East at this time, allowed Antiochus iv to become the EIGHT KING in a line of Kings whose lineage dates back to Seleucus. Antiochus iv exalted himself by adding Epiphany to his name. An epiphany is “a great manifestation of God “.
NB: The Antichrist will seat in the temple of God showing himself as God.
Revelation 17: 8-12
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
Rev 17:8-12 (KJV).
These Five Kings are the Kings that have ruled the world, beginning from Nebuchadnezzar, the ONE IS, is the POPE, they are the king of the world now.
Another way to look at it is from the Papal names, there are seven papal names used by the popes since 1798, there are:
1: Pius, and Twelve Pope’s using the name Pius. 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12 = 78
2: Leo, and Thirteen Pope’s using the name Leo. 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13 = 91
3: Gregory, and Sixteen Pope’s used the name Gregory. 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16 = 136
4: Benedict, and Fifteen Pope’s using the name Benedict.(While Benedict XVI remains, but there will be only 14 once he changes his name ) 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14 = 105
5: John, Twenty One Pope’s using the name, John. 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16+17+18+19+20+21 = 231
6: Paul, Six Pope’s using the name, Paul. 1+2+3+4+5+6 = 21
7: John Paul, Two Pope’s using the name John Paul. 1+2 = 3
Like the Bible said, count the number, for it is a number of a man, when you add the number it gives you 665, the Pope present now comes with a new name Francis, which is 665 + 1 = 666.
2) These Ten Horns as we know is in the future, telling us that what Epiphany did, the larger scale is coming at the end of the tribulation.
The morning and evening, as some scholars said, that means former and later days, the former has taken place in Epiphany the Later is coming in the Later times, in the evening, the close of things.
Joel 2:28 was fulfilled in Acts 2:38 – 41, but there is a gap of 2000 years for the part B, to be fulfilled because during the Pentecost there was no blood and fire and pillars of smoke, or the moon turning into blood.
3) Some scholars said Epiphany didn’t desecrate the temple for three and half years, Israel will be under the power of the Romans for three and half years, remember that in Matthew 24, Jesus said the days shall be shortened, to how many days, we don’t know.
4) Some scholars said that Epiphany desecrates the temple for 2300 days, well is a type that the last seven years will be the one week the Anti-Christ will confirm the covenant, but in the middle, he will break it. The seven years will be shortened, according to Matthew 24.
5) Some say that the 2300 days are numbers of sacrifice per day, that the days is 1150 days,
When you add 75 days from the Daniel 12, the 1290 days and 1335 days, that is 75 days, to the 1150 days, we have 1,225, shortage of 35 days, i.e 35 days short from 1260 days, remember Matthew 24, Christ said the days are to be shortened, but we don’t know the number of days to be shortened.
Could this be the number of days shorten?.
No, we are not rightly dividing the word. I believe that the short of days should be half of the seven years period.
For example, if a friend says to you, I will meet you by say after 2 O’clock, IT SIMPLY MEANS I WILL MEET YOU BY 2:30, CAN AS WELL BE, 2:10 OR 2:15. But the first point our thought does
go is 2:30.
Finally, we don’t need to divide the 2300 days, the bible said 2300 days, that is it, nothing like 1150 days or whatever.
Read Gen 1:5, Gen 1:8, Gen 1:13, Gen 1:19, God said the evening and the morning were the first days.
So 2300 days, is 2300 days, we don’t need to divide it.
We should understand that the end is near and the very day of The Lord’s Coming, no one knows the day or the hour, we just need to be prepared and be acceptable before God Almighty.
