WHO IS Melchizedek ?
Genesis chapter 14 verses 18, And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
Hebrews chapter 7 verses 3, Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Hebrews chapter 7 verses 27, Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
Melchizedek is the priest of the most high God, who came to show himself before the
Perfect sacrifice. And we know that in the new testament, Jesus Christ replaces the priesthood that accept sacrifice for our burnt offerings.
Who is Melchizedek? he is the shadow of Jesus Christ in the Old testament.
Who is Melchizedek? He is the shadow of Christ which physically replaces the priesthood in the new testament.
Who is Melchizedek?Melchizedek, is God on earth, in the old testament.
You may ask, why did he came back then, knowing fully well that he is coming again as Christ the lamb of God.
Well, he needs to display his attributes, in all dispensation, and he will always shows a shadow of his laws and ordinance before they come into light.
Melchizedek, without father, without mother, he offered wine and bread to Abraham, in return, Abraham paid tithe unto him, the bible said that the Levites which collects tithe pay tithe in the loins of Abraham.
We the descendant of Abraham, will as well pay our tithe and take the communion, all in Christ Jesus.
Hebrews chapter 7 verses 2, To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
Hebrews chapter 5 verses 6, As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Hebrews chapter 7 verses 1,He is called, king of Salem, priest of the most high God.
