Satan can deceive you, by going to church, do good, help people, give offering and just try to be innocent, yet end up in Hell. Innocence is not righteousness.

Satan knows that without christians coming under that name, ( LORD JESUS CHRIST ) we are powerless, and God don’t recognizes us
Romans 10:10 (KJV)
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Don’t be fooled with this verse, is deeper than you think. It says believeth unto righteousness, believe WHAT? you have to know what He God wants you to believe before first, before you start confessing it.
Righteousness is God perfect will and way, you beleive it, you pratice it.

For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
1 Corinthians 12:3 (KJV)
3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
From the verse above, is easy to call Jesus Lord, but this verse says you can only called that name by the spirit of God, the Holy Ghost.
